Here's a project I've undertaken recently. It's a non-canonical take on the Barsoom stories of Edgar Rice Burroughs concerning the character Phaidor, the character that featured in the novels GODS OF MARS and WARLORD OF MARS, she was a high priestess of the Therns, daughter of Matai Shang Hekkador (emporer) of the sinister Thern cult, the bad guys who eat the pilgrims who make the journey in the name of false religion along the river Iss.

The plot device here is that Phaidor survives the events at the end of WARLORD OF MARS and goes on to have adventures of her own.

This tale is for the most part in a largely unfinished state, in it Phaidor's life is saved by the reclusive scientist Karn Gravus in his hidden laboratory at Mars' North Pole.

But Karn Gravus also hides a shameful secret, one that Phaidor must discover the answer to.
